Justin Swinehart

Webmaster of QuarkNet

Hello. My name is Justin Swinehart. My friends and I are here in I.U. Bloomington for one week to finish some cosmic ray detectors. I worked on the Web group. I worked with Liz and Frank and Jason on the Microsoft Access database. Access decided that it didn't want to work so we almost decided to make a sacrifice to the God of Access, who was angry.

I came down with Damon Null, one of my best friends, and Brian Kolski. Damon's dad drove us down. I stayed at the McNutt dorm. The dorm food was o.k. For lunch, we go to Wright Court. Well, on Tuesday we were having some problems with Access. So I was sent to talk with David Burkhart to get help. Well, everyone else left for lunch, leaving me stranded at Swain Hall. They brought me back some lunch, so I felt better after that. Wednesday night, we went wall climbing. That was so much fun. They kept calling me a monkey because I kept shimmying up the walls. Thursday night, we had a beach party. On Friday, we are going up to Fermi Lab near Chicago. I have really enjoyed my stay here at I.U. Bloomington and I look forward to coming back here in the fall and next summer.
My E-Mail address is JBears3@Juno.com.My friends web sites are David Bloczynski and Damon Null.  My Teacher's name is John Taylor. Some new friends I met down here are Kristen and Whitney and Jamil Ortoleva.

My girlfriend is named Rebecca Faunce. She is wonderful, and I treasure every moment I spend with her. Becki is very beautiful, and I am so very proud of her.
I just graduated from high school and I am going to attend I.U. Bloomington.
This year I am a returning member for the QuarkNet team for the Summer of 2003. This year we are staying in Foster. I spent most of Thursday setting up people's web sites. For the second year in a row, I am rooming with Bryan Kolski. Wednesday night, Adam Butler decided that he was going to sleep up in basically a storage bin over the closet that I was using. The computer group hasn't had any luck this year. As soon as one item is fixed, something else goes down. The God of Access is back with a vengeance. We need a sacrifice!!
Bryan Montgomery, Adam Butler, and Scott Sibberson are some of the friends I made down here this year. We are traveling to Fermi Lab on Friday once again. I will receive another scintillating ruler, it glows in the light (hahaha!!!)

Here I am at the Cyclotron.
